Seniors Patrons Cup Dates- players wanted!

• 7 February to 3 March 2022

Juniors Summer Season: October - March

(No games played in school holidays)

• Games commenced 15-17 October 2021

• Under-18s: games resume 30 January 2022

• All other grades: games resume weekend of 4-6 February 2022

• Last round 25-27 Feb 2022

• Grand Final Sat 12 March 2022

Winter Season: April - September

Game Days:

• U16s – Friday nights from 4:30pm

• U8-U14s – Saturdays from 8:00am

• U18s – Sundays from 3:00pm

Senior Championship Season (Winter)

• Women’s games: Tuesday nights

• Men’s games:

  • Division 1 and 2: Wednesday nights

  • Division 3: Monday nights

  • Division 4: Tuesdays or Wednesdays

All games are played at the Townsville Basketball Stadium in Annandale.

Age Groups

• Under-8s: players born in calendar year 2015 or 2016

• Under-10s: players born in calendar year 2013 or 2014

• Under-12s: players born in calendar year 2011 or 2012

• Under-14s: players born in calendar year 2009 or 2010

• Under-16s: players born in calendar year 2007 or 2008

• Under-18s: players born in calendar year 2005 or 2006

• Seniors: players born in calendar year 2004 or earlier

• U8/10/12 Boys -Mondays 4:30-5:15pm (U8-10s – 45 mins/U12s 1 hr)

• U14 Boys - Monday 4:00-5:00pm

• U16 Boys – Mondays 5:00-6:00pm

• U8 Girls - Thursdays 4:30-5:15pm

• U10 Girls - Thursdays 4:00-4:45pm

• U12 Girls - Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm

• U14 Girls - Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm

• U16 Girls – Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm

Townsville Basketball stadium in Annandale:

• U18 Boys – Thursdays 5:30-6:45pm (Outside courts)

• U18 Girls - Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm, Court 3

Fees

Seniors -

Basketball Qld registration fees and player insurance - $71.61 (lasts 12 months)

Patrons’ Cup entry fee $48.00 per player, payable by end of January 2022. Register online here.

Championship Season starting in April (due April 2022:) entry fee $144 per player, all divisions.

Game fees: $14.00 per game, paid on game day at the TBI canteen. (EFTPOS preferred.)

U8-10’s –

1.Registration Fees - $255.31 (This includes a 12mth Basketball QLD Registration of $35.81. Total is $219.50 if this fee is not yet due)

2. Capital Levy $60 per person or $90 family per season

U12-18’s –

1.Registration Fees - $322.61 (This includes a 12mth Basketball QLD Registration of $71.61- total is $251.00 if this fee is not yet due)

2. Capital Levy $60 per person or $90 family per season

Annual fee for QLD basketball registration must be paid online.

Payment plans can be arranged through Townsville Basketball for all other fees if required 47783400 or rec@townsvillebasketball.com

Fair Play Vouchers can be used for these fees and will need to be sent to the club. (Voucher number to be entered during registration)

Basketball Connect

Townsville Basketball is moving to a new registration system for the 2021/22 season, called Basketball Connect. To register for the junior season, click here.

If you registered in a previous year using the old system (Gameday), TBI has produced a video to assist with the transition. (If the video does not appear below, click here.)

Uniforms

All playing singlets are provided and shorts can be purchased from the club for $40.  We also have optional training singlets, warm up shirts, bags, water bottles and hairbands that can be purchased.
